I not sure where to go on this element of my build. I'll be running a 200 4r with a fairly slippy TC, trans cooler, behind an 8.5-1 sb 406 & 8-71 roots.
What radiator & fan(s) combo can I run with reasonable confidence in cooling ability. I live in Tucson so summer afternoons, temps over asphalt in the sun get a bit hellish .
Does your setup have fans? I'm hoping I don't have to lay out $1600 for a radiator setup that works. If I have to I will, but I'm hoping there are more economical yet effective solutions out there.

Yeah, I got the rad./fan combo, it even comes with a real nice relay/wiring assembly. It was so reasonably priced at $920, when you compare it to the top notch build quality, its maybe the best deal.
Picked up DeWitt's with dual fan kit from Zip's Corvette on a 15% off $500.00 or more spent promo. Ended up being right under the $925.00 list but with shippinf and tax included. Keep an eye open fron those vendor promos.... every little bit helps.
Oh, the Dewitt's comes with wiring harness and 2 relays one per each fan. If you have A/C you will need 3rd relay to cut on fans when A/C is running. Just a heads up.
Just installing my Dewiits w/spal fans, relays, harness etc.. Good build quailty. Do not have the fans mounted until the rad is in the car. I bought all the componets seperate and saved about $150 from the 925price. Amazon!
