82 fuel pump upgrade
for those with a 1982 vette .when you replace your fuel pump a good up grade is to buy the 1985 vette fuel pump.it is the same pump just higher pressure.you will only have to change two wires from the old wire eyelets to the snap in plug .the new wire plug in is in the box with the new pump.in thse pics you can see that the pump comes out the top goes in place of the old pump .this did improve my idle some but i really notice alot on take off.http://85fuelpump.shutterfly.com/pictures/14#10

no ,but its good to know what you have .if you dont have 14 psi at the tbs you will be down on power .my take off power from a light ,made a big differance.my old pump[5 years old] was not putting out what it should have .
