Couple things different with the pictured car.
Spring is a replacement, leaf thickness is too thick for original and is arched too much.
Cushions are too thick, possibly poly and don't compress like rubber.
With the jack sitting right there in the pic, I doubt if that is the real height anyway, although the camber doesn't look as if it has just been lifted.
Here is a pic using Guldstrand shortened lower leaf, a couple leafs removed and stock bolts with poly cushions on 255x60x15 tires. Has about 1-1/2" between fender and tire.
Everything that i read here no mater what spring you use the body appears too high. If someone has purchased a spring that has a nice stance i would like to see pictures.
OK, I'll try. VBP #330 spring with 8" bolts. Cushions are poly. Tires are 235/60. The car looks fine to me but I suppose would look better with 225/70.
Hi,
I see an advertisement from a company that has an F-41 spring, (7 leaves, correct 315# spring rate), that they specifically state yields the correct ride height.
I don't know if they have a standard suspension, (9 leaf), spring or not.
The F-41 option actually gave the car a slight lower ride height than standard.
Regards,
Alan

This is the stance with the VB&P Street & Slalom suspension. The engine weighs quite a bit less than the stock 350 but the transmission weighs more than the 4-speed, but the overall weight is less than the stock car.
Drive the car a bit, so that it settles down. When the ride height is correct, the half shafts will be very nearly horizontal, maybe 1/8" high on the inside. Make sure the wheel camber is on spec first.
