Glove Box Lock HELP !!
All,
A small and simple project has turned ugly and I need help. I was going to tighten my glove box lock on my 78 up because it was a little loose. I removed the lock cylinder with no problem, cleaned & oiled everything and think I put it back together wrong
The cylinder is not seated againt the door and the key will not fit in it very well. It latched and when I turn the know it unlatches, but I know its in wrong. I tried to see the little release tabs but can not see them.
Anyone have any ideas before i get the dremel out?

UPDATE !!
I was able to remove the lock cylinder without the Dremwl or explosives
I have no idea what I did beyond sticking the original key (had been using duplicate keys to save the originals) and the cylinder simply made a clicking sound and popped out into my lap.
I reassembled it the correct way and now is all good!!
