Has anyone ever heard of this issue with a Hurst?
Started the car with the clutch in.
Shifter was in reverse, I pulled it back into the nuetral slot and flipped the shift lever left to right a few times to verify...my normal move.
Let the clutch up and the car jumped backwards as the tranny was still in reverse!!!
It's happened twice.
Thanks
Did you check the shift levers on the trans. The bolts may have loosened up and not allowing the shifter arm to stay on the shift fork. Get under there and make sure everything is tight. Yes I have had it happen before.
