Default Winter project

Hi Ya'll,
Cold and rainy here in "Good Old Germany",so I decided today to get started on my winter overhaul.
every thing is ready for pulling the motor and tranny as one,and have a question.

Should the radiator mount/crossmember be removed or will the
pullys clear with it in?

Don't want to have this thing hanging on the shop crane and run into problems.

I pulled my 78 small block & auto trans. recently but if I had to do it again i would separate the two. I had the radiator & shroud removed as well as the water pump. It barely clears & is at a pretty steep angle. Tie a towel over the trans shaft to reduce damage to the firewall. Mine wanted to drag on the firewall as I pulled it by myself. But yes- it will work.
