T-Top seals

I am replacing my seals on my t-tops. When I removed the old ones they had used sealant to help attach them to the frame along with the plastic pins. I am sure these are not OEM. The pins appear close enough to me not to have to do that but this is a first for me. I have an '80 with glass tops. Please advise. Thanks

Hi tm,
I believe that Chevrolet did NOTHING they didn't have to when building cars... so?

AIM shows weatherstrip adhesive in the corners for glass tops; full circumference for fiberglass tops.
