If you can ramp the front, then support the rearmost mainframes with stands, you're in like Flynn. Leave the jacks snugged up next to the stands while you're at it, good insurance and comfort food.
One question for you legal eagles out there: How does one by-pass the cat laws to get to use true duals? Most exhaust shops will throw you out the door for even asking for duals without cats. The fines are enormous!! Just wondering about the possible pitfalls.
Thanks, everybody, and Happy New Year!
My cat and entire exhaust system is in a nice little pile by the shed.
I will be going dual sides real soon.
How you ask? Historic plates. No more smog test!!

A block with a few pieces of 2x8 to add height?
Because the correct way to put weight on a cinder block is with the holes being vertical. This is how they are used to build heavy things, like buildings. You need a board on top to span the weight across those holes.

If you put them on their side, you get a nice flat surface, but they are not made to have pressure on them that way. Using them on their side is how you get them to bust and kill someone.

No worries. I kept the (4) 5 ton stands on the frame and put some 2 ton units here and there as I moved around the car, JIC.

Once I got under the car and working my fear dissipated.

I did give it the shake test too and it felt very solid.
