Lights look good, wonderful paint job...love that....and too boot you lobbed about 50 lbs off the front of the car....make that a triple crown....
Well - the paint job looks good - however - it is not as nice as I would like it to be.. Especially under the spoiler - the paint is horrible... However usually nobody looks under the spoiler...
I am planning to get the car re-painted in one or two years in black with silver stripes!!!
After showing the new headlights to my fellow club members at a show today, I have decided NOT to put on the clear covers. My idea was too add more lines and angles for the paint to change colors on. I think if I put the covers on, it will defeat that purpose.
Thanks for checking this out and adding your comments.
Next pics...........W H E E L S !!!!!
ylose....nice car, good color :D :D :yesnod:
grandsportC3....wish I could have found out how your lights were installed. Very unique setup. I would have liked to do mine that way. Covers on those should be easy.
I still have the template for my covers..may go ahead and make some to see what it takes. I thought about making some painted metal ones to really mess people up.

I would like to know too how this setup was installed and what parts were used. Should I get into an accident - it would be very difficult to rebuild this headlight setup...
Can you post or E me some pics of your lights???
I remember a thread awhile back when you were attempting to figure them out. Are they fiberglass? How are they mounted? Is it possible that they are the fiberglass exposed lights cut and trimmed to fit on the front opening. That is what I thought of doing with mine. But figured if I messed up it would be expensive to fix the mistake.
They look really sweet! I installed quite few of those headlight conversion kits way back in the early 80s. About half of them were installed without the covers. I used the fiberglass kits that were bonded on. I never received any complaints. In fact, my wife's 77 had a set. She liked them alot.

Here are the only pics of my setup. Unfortunately - I don't know anything about the setup... The bezels used are plastic. I never figured out what car they came out of.... In order to make detailed phots of the assembly I would have to disassemble the whole thing.. I currently don't have the time to do that. Should I disassemble the setup - I will make some more pics:

P.S. In order to get the bezels out - I have to remove the bumper guards...
They almost look like they were just taken off of another vehicle.
IF you do ever take it apart again look for a part number. Never know what you might find.
