Default Need some help--headers

I am dropping in a bigger motor and I need help finding the correct headers. The new engine has Trick Flow Twisted Wedge aluminum heads with angled plugs and D-ports. It will be going into my '78 Vette with an automatic tranny and full exhaust out the back. I would like thermal coating or ceramic coated headers.

Please help me find the correct headers for my application. The Hedman headers I have won't clear the spark plugs.

I have contacted Trick Flow and they have been NO help.

HELP!!!!! LOL

Here's some help. Why don't you call a few header companies and ask them if they make headers for your application? Couldn't hurt. Sorry, but that's about the best I can do for ya.

Been there, done that. Hedman replies with "We don't make anything for your application". Hooker just doesn't respond.

Next step is trying Jeg's and maybe Summit tech lines.

E-mailed Trick Flow and they don't care about thier customers after the sale.

The configuration of the Hooker side pipe headers allowed me to run the angle plug heads. If you can somehow get a set that has the hooker shapes coming off the head but run down to regular under the floor collectors it would work. I think its worth mentioning to them when you call the header companies listed above.

Do yourself a favor and skip Hooker. They are no help after the sale. Ordered some Dark Ceramics for a similar Camaro project and they would offer no help or suggestions.

I contacted Jeg's tech department and they recommended Hooker Super Comps. I have a set of those on the way and one set of Hedman headers for angled plugs. I hope I can get one of the sets to fit.

Thanks for the replies.
