Troubleshooting heater
Hi guys, my heating system doesn't work and I would like to fix it (especially for drivin the car in this cold season!).
I have no A/C. I looked at the AIM but I haven't found anything... the previous owner said that there's a vacuum leak relating to the heater switch. Where can I find more info inside the AIM??? Thanks!

I just traced my heater and wiper not working to the ignition switch attached to the top of the steering column under the dash. My brown wire feed (to heater, wiper and radio) had a poor connection at the switch. I did not have power at the fuse block and traced back from there.

The AIM shows the heater connections under the console and where the various vac lines run.
The chassis service manual often has a step by step trouble shooting sequence in it.

Thanks Mike. The heater wires under the console were OK. I was not getting power to the switch in the console. My issue was before the fuse block, which feeds power to the heater switch, wiper switch and the radio. None of the trouble shooting writings helped. Only the wiring diagram shed light on my issue, no power out of the ignition switch to the fuse box.
