I read the other recent thread but I don`t remember finding where to buy the Balwin-Motion hood. Or was this a modified L-88?
MoMos plan sounds very good  And BDAZVET the Baldwin Motion hood would be extremly cool to. I bet http://www.vanacorvettes.com makes them. They make a ton of fiberglass stuff for all the vettes. But I wasn't very pleased with the quality of the BBlock hood I got from them, or the rear filler panel...both ended up requiring a ton of work to get smooth enough for paint. I think Ecklers has a good rep for quality fiberglass...little more pricy..may be worth a call to them though to see if they have it (and I think Gary Gruhala can get you a decent discout..do a search for his contact info)
Thanks for the coments ZORA_RULES. I remember that Merlin 522 had lots of problems with proper fitment with the stuff he got from Vanacor. But their stuff is way cool. I`ll have to go back and look for their B/M hood. :)
If my hood decides to crack through from the thin spot where the air cleaner stud rubbed it almost through, I might cut a hool in it and try a chrome air cleaner scoop. Always wanted a car with a chrome scoop sticking out of the hood. If it looks too tacky I'll fit it with a stinger piece and have my ram air half done. :yesnod:
Also was thinking of repairing the thin spot and then painting the cowl white to match my top that way I can avoid painting the whole car which still looks nice.

I am in total agreement with fevre on this one, love that look. Hey Chris see you soon bud!
There was a '67 stinger style scoop (abs) that just sold on eBay for $20.50. I was worried that being abs it would not hold up, but I have been known to be wrong many a time before as well.
Which one will provide the most clearance for a blower? It will be manifold, blower, carb, air cleaner from bottom up. I'd like to avoid cutting a hole in the stock hood.
Schmucker:
That would depend on the size and type of supercharger. With a 144ci "street" blower, you could probably use a high rise hood with out any modification because these blowers lay kind of flat on a stock type, low rise manifold, with a drop down air cleaner. It would still be REAL tight in there. Anything larger would require a tunnel ram type scoop.
