could someone heip me out regarding heat shields for manifold causing spark plug wires melting from the heat on our 81?
Are the plug wires touching the manifolds and are the plug wires routed correctly? If the plug wires are not touching the manifolds and are still melting then you have another problem.
Run them up top with a set of valve cover clamps. That way they are easy to get too and are fixed in position so they cant burn up. Use some boots around the plugs if need be.
