help for the tach filter
is somebody knows what kind of filter is on tacho signal ? between the distributor and the tacho.
I think it's on microfarad it's not ?

Or, if you don't want to DIY, buy one from Willcox. If you DIY, just clean out the stuff in the filter 'container', install new circuit, and fill it with potting material. Use good quality components and use 1 watt resistors (instead of 1/2 watt).

I mean that because I'm leaving in France and when we buy components from America, all prices increase much. I need a tach filter because I changed the tacho of my vette 73 for a 75 tacho, electronic. I connect all things, my new tacho is working well but 2 things hapenned:
1- when I stop the engine the needle does'not go to the 0 position.
2- When the engine is running, I think the needle is not fixed in the rpm position.
Ther is no filter on the line distributor/tacho so I have to put some and I woulde know what value had the filter in microfarad or else. So I don't need to order in America, I can buy in France.
