Default What is this gauge part called?

Hello again All,
Could one of you more knowledgeable than I, please tell me what this is called? I need to purchase one or more of these for my project and I can't find it on any of the major vendor's websites. Specifically, I need the 72 "Fasten Your Seat Belt" part similar to the one in the photos below that is out of my 70. I just need a keyword so I can search. For those who don't know what the purpose of this part is: It's the "light tunnel" that directs the light from the the back of the gauge cluster to the idiot lights on the center console.
Thanks!!

I'm not sure what the proper (or GM) term was for that piece, but I would call it a "gauge cluster lamp indicator baffle". It is there to keep the light for those indicator lenses from 'leaking' out to the rest of the cluster area. I don't know if any aftermarket parts vendor sells them; but you can find them at Corvette show flea/swap markets at some of the larger car shows.

Thanks 7T1Vette,
That's about as good a name as any.
Your answer is not encouraging though. I may have to make my own then.

Hi b,
I see the lense and gasket listed various places but not the 'baffle'.
I think 7T1 is right... you'll need to find a used piece.

Alan

I don't know where you are but on March 23-24, in Sevierville Tenn. there is the Corvette Expo. There will be tons of new parts vendors and lots of used part vendors as well. You will most likely find what you need and at an excellent price. See the "Corvette Expo" web page for the event. I keep a wish list of unusual and hard to find parts and pick them up at the expo.
Good luck.
