I have a 75 with a 468 cu in alum head, hyd roller with about 550-575 hp.
I am looking for anyone that has experience with aftermarket half shafts that can withstand higher horsepower motors.
Be sure to get the spicer u-joints without the zerk (grease) fitting. They are stronger and probably a weaker link in the drivetrain than stock half shafts themselves.

Depending on what you'll be doing with that much power, you could well be in the market for an HD diff, if not a full 12-bolt IRS conversion, as well as other bits such as HD stubs and 1/2" lugs, as I've learned the hard way you don't have to be on slicks to break a 10-bolt and other stuff back there. What did the L88 cars come equipped with a standard equipment? And how did they hold up. I don't know that they made as much power as the OP's car, but most considered them on the high side of 500 didn't they?
Remember one more thing. Back in the day, the street tires did not have anywhere near the grip of today's tires. That acted as a "safety valve" to protect the drivetrain. The tires would spin, limiting severe loads on the drivetrain.
You should check out www.dennysdriveshaft.com. Bought mine from them. They work great and look awesome. They have everything from half-shafts for the vettes, driveshafts, u-joints, and much more...

L-88's came with all the standard parts of a Big Block car. Nothing diffrent in this department.
