I changed both my 61 and 65 to Mallory Unilites and have had module failures in both. No enhanced performance with the change at all. I carry a spare module when I drive them. I'm sticking with points in my 68. To me it's just more reliable and it's simple to maintain. Besides, I'm old school and like using my dwell meter .
I lived thru the "points" years and low power coils.
Then 1 day I decided to switch to an HEI distributar and high power coil and saw the advantage.
Points should be seen in a museum with a sign that says" so old even a caveman switched"!!!!
