This has been done and documented a lot. Not trying to be snobby but doing an advanced search and reading through a few dozen threads is your best first step. Then take what you have learned, find out what you are still not clear on, and then ask your questions. At this stage, where you obviously haven't outlined some very important things, there is just no way we can properly help you.

Many people here have fitted a four speed auto such as a TH700 or a TH2004R, but I've never heard of anyone fitting a five speed. Have you found a likely 5-speed and from which donor car did it come? Others here would be interested if there is such a transmission readily available.

If you go 200 r4 it is a fairly easy swap. You get a little lower 1st gear and overdrive. Bowtie overdrives can hook you up with everything you need for about $1500
