While working on replacing all valve stem seals over the weekend I have stumbled onto another problem. At least two of the push rods are damaged. The problem I am having is finding a proper replacement. I am going ahead and replace all of them. The current rods are .3125 diam. and 7.794 in length solid pieces with rounded ends as seen in pics. This engine was rebuilt in years past by po and a larger cam was installed. What can I replace them with without breaking the bank in cost.
I was looking at these: http://www.jegs.com/i/Proform/778/66891C/10002/-1
They may not be the correct length for the 'revised' valve train geometry. You need to determine the correct length rod size for the cam, heads, rockers and valves in your engine.

With that damage, something's clearly not right and the valvetrain geometry needs to be checked throughout.
