Can a 305 cause an almost 100 lb decrease in weight?
Just an odd-ball question.
The stock weight for my car is rated at 3495. But that's with the 350. Is the 305 that much more light? :confused: I measured mine at the track and it came in at just under 3400.

Base weight for an 80 is 3,336 lbs, Per the Corvette Black Book. To that you would add the weight of options. I cannot see the 305 being lighter unless it may have a smaller radiator and cooling system and/or smaller exhaust pipes.
