Before my car shuts off I begin to lose compression in the pedal; the car would start jerkin and heavin. I pump the pedal a good two times and she stays alive until the next light.
I open the hood I got fluid on the intake manifold and the water pumps got a slight leak.
I never have this problem when driving at night so I am assuming my issue has to be a radiator/coolant/water pump issue. I'm changing out the pump this evening. Any ideas what else could be the issue. Carb?
What do you mean by "lose compression in the pedal"? Are you saying after you turn the car off you have run on? If so what is the idle engine RPM in park or neutral?
Does the engine want to stall just when it's hot or both hot and cold?
The water on the intake could be from the pump leak blowing back onto the engine and it may not be connected to the rough running. Run the engine with the hood open and see what going on.

As in the i can push the pedal all the way to the floor and the car wont accelerate. It wants to die. The only way I can revive it is with quick pedal pumps and with some luck or a downhill it starts to go before it repeats the process. The car is in motion.

Hot. I rarely have had this issue at night going the same distance. I opened up the hood, ran the engine; pump leaks when off.
well if it doesnt happen at night, the only difference is your headlights are on, which leads me to believe you have a vacuum leak in one of the hoses related to the lights.

My headlights dont go up. I manually raise them. I didn't know that leak would cause my engine/car to shut off. I just tried starting the car a couple minutes ago and it would turn over. I'll give it a couple more hours before I start it again.
If the engine starts to die off and pumping the pedal can keep it going, it sounds like a fuel flow problem. If this is true, it wouldn't really matter if it was day or night. The carb needs to be checked over, it could be a float, or a needle valve sticking.

If your headlights don't go up then you probably have a vacuum leak somewhere in the system.
Sounds like your carb is so hot that you are getting fuel percolation. If you have headers this is a common problem, too much heat in the engine compartment. Your fuel pump gets very hot and that can start the fuel boiling. Best to check your fuel pressure at the carb when engine is cold and then when hot. Install an inline gauge near the carb. My buddy had the same problem with his C3 and he installed an electric pump and problem solved. Could just be a plugged fuel filter, bad mechanical pump, or possibly your tank sock is plugged up.
Not having any more info on why the headlights don't pop up, my initial thought is a vacuum problem: a vacuum line is open somewhere. I'd first check the vacuum line coming off the intake manifold, then look at all the carb lines.

I adjusted the carb and since then I haven't had any problems. I am interested in the electric pump however. Do you mean an electric fuel pump? I will get a new fuel filter on the carb in a day or so since I haven't done so yet.
