Thank you and you are correct! Knowing where the needle should be at a fix position would be a good way to re-set a needle. I use the tester to do this so I have a bit of an advantage..
Ok.. I've moved most of the videos to our Facebook page now.. And we will start posting shop jobs in there as they progress. Right now we are hammering a 65 conv.. but we will be posting pictures in there of different jobs as the are being worked on.
Ok.. this is the newest possibly the final wiper motor video we will be doing. In this video, I destroyed my ancient tester nicknamed Frankenmeter! It was worth it though.
In this video I also make the statement that this may be the video to end all video's on wiper motors. There are some neat tricks you'll pick up in this such as... If the relay is clicking.... the wiper switch has a ground (there is no way the relay will click if the ground is missing).
Thank You! I think we have a door regulator job coming in next week.. maybe that one would be a good one to video. Plus the adjustment of the door glass after the fact. I'm not sure if we'll have time though, that will depend on how fast the customer needs the car back.
video moved to the top post.
Wear gloves when you video the regulator work. We don't want to see the blood running from your knuckles!
Mine are still healing from adjusting my windows!
Great job on the Videos, keep 'em coming!
