pwr steering hose alignment?
can any body tell me or show me a pic?
thanks so much

The angle shown in this AIM sheet is defined as the first plane of the pressure hose pipe as it leaves the discharge fitting on the pump. That angle is different from the big block to the small block. The angle is defined as from the vertical as the pump is installed in the car. The big block pump reservoir is tipped toward the engine. The small block pump reservoir is tipped away from the engine. I don't know what the actual angle is.
The big block pressure hose should angle toward the engine at a 36 degree angle. So this hose is pointing down and inboard toward the engine at a 36 degree angle from vertical in the car and is defined as through the first bend in the pipe as it exits the discharge fitting.
The small block hose is at a 80 degree angle. So this hose is nearly laying on its side and is pointing toward the engine block.
Sorry if this description is a bit confusing.
