73 auto shifter boot?
Looking to replace the cheap plastic shifter slides and e-brake plastic slide with ANYTHING. anyone have a suggestion. would like to use a leather boot of some type for either or both applications. thanks for the help.

The four speed leather boot fits your console plate after you remove the auto shifter hardware. The auto stuff is riveted to the console trim plate.
If you want to hang on to your original console plate, find a good, used, 4 speed plate and swap.

Thanks for the kwik replies. I'll remove the console & take a close look at it. Retaining the original console is not important to me. I'd like to improve what I think is a "chincy" set up.
I'd like to have a clean look. Gaudy is not my stile and bubba has left the building.
