I THINK I figured out why my flashers wont work, I found the flasher relay on the fuse box, pulled it out put in another that I had but still no dice, so i got looking up there as best I could and could see one of the posts in the fuse block but not the other so it appears that one of the posts is missing! how hard is it to pull the fuse block down? Looks like a real pain

Ok I looked at mine just now and while it is very hard for me to get a good look at the fuse block, mine appears to look as you described. (Like it is missing a plug) but mine work fine. Perhaps the flasher fuse you have is defective if it was a used one or new it could be possible. If you are able to put a jumper wire into the fuse block where the flasher goes and the lights light up then the flasher unit is bad.
