headlight switch
well my old man was on his way home from work today when he hit a bump and his headlights went out. ive got no power coming from the yellow wire that goes to the dimmer switch under the steering column that controls the hi/lo position. im wondering if my problem could be my headlight switch or if i should start looking somewhere else?

No relay.
There is a dimmer switch in the steering column.The yellow from the switch feeds the dimmer. Both the green and brown run out of it.
Sounds like you are not getting power on the yellow to the dimmer. Check this.
The other things work because they run off different wires from the switch.
