I did this change C6 Door mirror on to my 1982 C3 and moved my mirrors forward at the same time. It is mounted so that the rear stud of the C6 mirror goes in the front hole of the original mirror mounting position. Hence I only drilled 2 new holes. In that position you hardly have to turn your head to use it, it is much easier and safer to see now and you can see a much wider field of vision. You have to have the original holes in the door filled or an adapter plate made the covers the original holes and the new holes. Cheers Bill

Hi there I am just doing the same conversion and want my new electronic C6 mirrors adjustment to work the same as you have accomplished. However I am having trouble working out the wiring to connections using the wires that are already there from the original 1982 C3 electronic adjustable mirror wires. Therefore are you able to tell me which colour wire in the C6 mirrors goes to which colour in the C3 mirror loom?
Thanks
