Removing Dash on 81
i want to wire up the stereo on my newly bought 81 (havent had it for 24 hours yet!!) i only spent a few mins on it.... didn't want to break it. only found 4 screws on the top above the vents... but thats only half of it. can't get the bottom of the dash piece off where the radio is... PLEASE HELP!

You need to loosen the carpeted panels so that you can access the bottom of the guage cluster. There will are two screws with 7mm heads that hold the bottom on, they are pointing straight up.

The carpet panel have 3 screws each. The one in the middle is a little tricky to unscrew but if you compress the seat cushion, you can get it. For the radio *****, I don't know that model but in general, you just pull the ***** and there is a nut that you have to take out.
