I just installed a new engine wiring harness as well as a new dash wiring harness. As I was reassembling the interior I noticed th fuse labeled clock, courtesy, and cigar lighter was blown. As soon as I replaced the fuse it blew before I could put it in completely. I began to pull out everything I had already installed. When everything was take apart, I began plugging in plugs piece by piece. when I plugged in the rear tail section plug it blew the fuse meaning the rear tail section is where I'm blowing fuses. I have no idea what could be causing this. Anyone have any ideas or possible reasons?
Check the rear ground. Mine was not even connected when I looked at it last March. Mine was on the driver side rear. Should be able to see it on the side of the gas tank.

Just for fun, look in your cigar lighter. I dropped a dime in mine once while working on stuff and chased a short for 2 days before I found it...
I plugged my lighter in last spring and kept blowing fuses, unplugged it and no problems since. Will replace the socket this spring so that I can plug a GPS into it.
The center storage compartment light and the rear compartment light are both powered by the orange wire, check both of them for a short or the wrong bulb.
