Default Headlight Rain Shields

Over last winter (2011 2012) I replaced the vacuum headlight motors on my 70 with electric. Somehow I missed re-installing the shields.

This 70, that I acquired in 2004 (yea, they show me as a Junior Member ??) was not original. One of the POs had removed the Wiper Door & Vacuum motor, and installed a 73 hood.

Since it was modified, I replaced the headlight motors. Much better.

Pretty sure they are being reproduced. Originals do show up on ebay too.

Hi Bob,
Bill's right, the shields are being reproduced, so the usual larger venders have them.
I think I've heard them referred to as "stone" shields but maybe 'rain' shields too.
Regards,
Alan

Sorry I wasn't more succinct, I have the originals. I need to where they are installed.

Hi Bob,
The 3 screws in the top of each shield each go through a small hole in the flange on the bottom of the bumper and then into the u-clips on the shields. The shields then end up tight against the backside of the front grills.
Regards,
Alan
