Got a 69 350 4 speed no AC. Need the width of the opening of the core support. I think 69 thru 72 are all the same. This is the support for Harrison stacked-plate radiator.

The 68-72 no air, manual trans, small block Corvettes, used the aluminum radiator that is commonly referred to as the 19" radiator. This is the same radiator that was used in all 63-67 small block cars too.
I don't know the exact width of the opening in the core support, but it is a little wider than the 19" width of the radiator. I'd guess that the numbers that Alan gave you are right on, as he's usually correct!

Core Support - Back Story
My 69 w/NOM came with a replacement copper aftermarket radiator. The core measures approx. 17-1/2" wide; the core support opening measures 23" in width. This resulted in a 3" gap between the radiator and core support filler panel on the driver's side. You guessed it - cooling problems. So, in a moment of fiscal abandonment, I ordered a DeWitt's reproduction radiator. My plan is to pull the core support and fabricate a correct filler panel (for both sides, if necessary). My reason for asking for the width opening of an original support was to establish the OEM dimension.
Doing a little research, I found an old Hib Halverson article that listed the 4 supports used in the 69 - 72. He lists my application as 19". That seems right. I measured the core width of my DeWitt's and essentially confirmed Hib's number. See following pics.
So, I think I've answered my own question. Would be reassuring, however, if someone could confirm.
