I cant say that I can give you an exact answer, but I had a Barry Grant 850 that used to make that teapot noise at low rpm part throttle. Obviously this is a different animal as a qjet, but I can at least say that I dont think its something to worry about, although Im sure youd like to make it stop doing that.
