Cloyes 9-3510TX9... Anybody have experience with this timing set? I am replacing a Clevite #93110 cast iron set which is seeing some significant wear after low mileage. Does the billet/billet cloyes 9-3510TX9 hold up any better?

Can't help you with part numbers, but I have had several Cloys double roller sets over the years, different engines, and they have always been fine.....the 350 engine in my vette had the cam changed and that Double Roller was brand new after ~120k miles and 13 years....course I bother to change oil every 50k miles, need it or not.....;-)))

I have been running the 9-3600TX9, which is the same setup for the small block. I have 320,000 miles on it now. No problems yet. Going for the half-million mile mark...
Thanks guys. Looks like the extra money for the billet steel gears is warranted. The Clevite has a cast iron cam gear. I'll pull the trigger on the Cloyes. Believe it or not, I found the best deal on AMAZON.. plus free shipping.

Just make sure you replace it every 1/2-million miles-or-so. This American-made car crap isn't very reliable. You should get a Honda.

To be fair, the Honda will last 0.5 million miles too but the quality US made parts last astonishingly long. What a shame they didn't clue into this 20 years ago in Detriot.
