Sure, here it is. Comes with 2 studs and 2 washers included. Dont know if this is the right or wrong shock for this application, but it's what I went with because it's one of the few they had that was the correct working length. It opens and closes my long hood real nice. Good luck.

What if you put one strut on each side? You could use lighter rate strut units. That would spread the stress around, and make it even less likely to crack anything.

Thought this was a good idea, and after I found out that '76 hood support wouldn't work with my '80 hood I decided there was no point waiting any longer. A note for anyone doing this swap, the difference in hood support mounting between different years will determine which support you need. I used MightyLift!/Universal lift support
Part Number: D95294 from Autozone which has a 17.2 inch extended length. Others may use a 14.5 inch version.

Thanks for digging this back up, I havnt seen this yet and I love the idea! $140 is a bit steep for this, Ill have to see if I can get my own to work.
