Default 1968 Frame kickups question??

What is the earliest known frames with kickup support (angled) ??
mine is May/June which makes me think its 1969? could i be wrong as it has correct vin number on it.

The only info that I have was that the gussets were add in mid production 1968.. So this would be somewhere around Jan or Feb 1968.

Hi Mick,
The info I looked at indicates that the brace at the kick-up was added in mid to late 68 production.
I'd therefore think your May/June built car (is that what you meant by "May/June"?) would have the brace.
If the vin stamp on the frame matches the vin on the pillar and engine pad....dosen't that clinch it?
Regards,
Alan

That does it for me Gentlemen , Thank You so very much for your depth of knowledge.
I can now spend my hard earned ££££ on the frame to a higher standard than its in,as it a match with the body.

Thank You, for those who have responded as it seems to be an opinion on this side of the pond when the brace 1st were introduced only on 69 production cars?
