you guys know me know how I like mods and the GVOD unit is a modern take of the infamous hone o drive that was used in hot rods years ago, even motion sold them,
I would LOVE to have an old hone o drive but complete ones fetch 1/2 what my 69 cost and while very strong you break it that's it.
I might find one at some garage or estate sale for cheap until then, nope.
I understand hone o drives fit in the vette a little better than the GVOD that I was told you better be sure it's off, back up with it on and it's toast, is that true?
you might have seen where I posted about swapping auto to stick and any trans swap is just so much sweeter when we get modern and go OD
I thought about the GVOD for the whole gadget coolness factor and talked with several old and young transmission guys who on this one all agreed be it stick or auto all can do what you desire with built in OD why pay double, double the headaches and not get double back?
