track days are the best days. putting taller tires on this year hoping to hit 150 on the front stretch. would like to see more chrome cars on the track. at the events I attend even to see a c4 is rare much less a c3 or pony cars, the old trans am cars, those owners must be saving them for dusting and car shows.:

This old footage from 2007 on a qualifying runs around the local 4.2 mile track. Nothing like full fire suite on a 90 degree day at the track and 120 in the car!
You can't do this with stock brakes. I Have big superlight Willwoods with 13.25 GT1 rotors
156 mph on the speed gun front straight
4.11 rear end 5 speed tko 600 295X17 front slicks 345X18 rear slicks 700# semi coil overs rear 500+ pound rear steel mid 600 hp 427 small block with 7500 rpm solid roller cam

Second video my slicks are up to heat and I'm using up the rumble strips which is that buzzing sound in the corners
