Default End Links

Hey gys,
new to corvette ownership.
Would this kit from VBP be the front sway bar end links I need for my 78 Vette?

http://www.vbandp.com/C2-C3-Corvette...1/2-Bolts.html

The only thing I dont see with this kit or any other is the 4 retainers that are shown in the assembly manual. (page 3G item #3 in mine)
Thanx a ton in advance.
Jeff

Those end links will work.
IMHO, keep the plain old rubber bar to frame bushings. They help isolate vibration and harshness, improving the ride.
The poly bushings are more efficient; they are stiffer, I'll concede that. But they increase the NVH.

Thank you for the quick response. i would keep them but they are flattened significantly and the bolts appear to be a bit compromised.
Both these and the rear spring supports were in about the same shape.
Rear spring supports are on the way now.
Maybe just get the rubber bushing set then?

Up to you. For the front stabilizer bar, I like it when the bar is supported on the frame by the stock type rubber bushings, with poly end links. You may find you like something else. When we do things like that, we are customizing our cars. Net net, it comes down to what YOU want.

Thanx again, gcusmano74.
The sway bar frame mount bushings appear to be in decent shape, look to have been replaced not all to long ago.
Look's like I'll only need to replace the links.
Should get them Saturday, the poly type bushings, and have the job done on both front and rear then.
I already have the rear spring mounts, not replaced as of yet.
