If I am understanding you correctly, you could either have water in that joint which would cause it to "leak", or there may be a leak elsewhere that is running through that area. I would get your grease gun (if you have one) and load up that joint (plug) with new grease until you see a grease consisitency being forced out. You will know when that happens and that should eliminate any water that may be in there. Otherwise take the 75 to a shop and have them lube the entire front suspension, sounds like it needs to be done anyway.........Tom
And yes the above does not refer to the Power Steering Control Valve as others have mentioned, only to regular suspension components.

I'm guessing the grease zert for the ball stud on the power steering control valve is dripping steering fluid. The control valve needs resealed or replaced.
If the power steering control valve is leaking (and it sounds like it is) it needs to be replaced or rebuilt. A rebuild kit is $25 and it is not hard to do. Until that time fill the power steering pump do not run it without fluid.
