front sprrings rusty
1.blast the front coil springs?
2.blast and repaint the rear diff[its chassis black],it probubaly look better [cast iron color]?
3.the driveshaft/rear half-shafts[chassis black] should be natural grey?
should i just leave everything or just take most everything apart and do it?,,am i being to picky?
You can be as picky as you please.
Originally all the parts you mentioned were 'natural', so they rusted.
Blasting them and leaving them natural isn't a tolerable option for most people. Everything will rust.
Some people coat the pats with semi-flat clear which gives them some protection and a somewhat original appearance.
Next would be to paint the front springs and rear differential case with something like 'cast blast'. This gives these parts a good look.
The drive shaft and half-shafts are a bit different... they have cast iron u-joint carriers which where welded to extruded steel tubes that appeared quite silver/shiny right after the were made but rusted quickly. Cast blast on the u-joint carriers and a bit of clear on wire brushed tubes looks good to many people.
The more you take apart the more detailed the results will be. If you're not going to disassemble things perhaps semi-flat black on everything is the way to go.
So it's up to you!

Alan
