I use my speedometer (which I verify with my GPS navigator), then stay within 5 mph of the speed limit. That's worked well for me for the last 50 years. I highly recommend it.
Lol.... Some will argue that takes the fun out of owning a sports car though... you have really never had it over the speed limit? Ever? I'm not a speeder myself but I'm guilty of doing once over the years :-)

I got that high speed stuff out of my system many years ago (when I was stupid...even though I knew it all ). If I really want to try something out at speed, I go to a rather deserted section of road and wait for a clear path where other drivers won't be affected.
Then, I take my chances with "Smokie". Those times are few a FAARRR between, these days.
so, people who exceed the speed limit are stupid?
not sure i buy into that, no i don't at all. my driving usually goes between 5 &10 over the limit and rarely more. i am more concerned about staying in that range than doing bonneville driving.
and the old "speed kills" crap is nonsense. if it were true everyone in the daytona 500 would be dead. differential speed kills , the old lady doing 45 in a 75 zone.
