Default Willcox upper ball joints failed or normal

Need fast answer please I have installer coming in today.
I recently purchased a front end rebuild kit from Willcox and everything is fine except upper ball joints. When I grease them up on one ball joint all the grease comes out from the top gasket that is between two metal plates of ball joint. On the second one it steal leaks but very little amount. Is it ok and should I just keep pumping until I get enough in the boot or should I get it replaced?

and good one

I wouldn't be comfortable with it, myself. If grease comes out, moisture can get in and rust.

I've not had any ball joints leak grease like that.

Did You notice how dark the spot welds are on the joint that didn't leak ? Looks to Me that the spot welder needed to be turned up some, the lighter the weld the more leakage. It will work as is ,"IF" You can get enuf grease into it to swell the rubber cup. Me personally , I would just change it now while its easy to do so. You are in for a big mess at every grease job if not. Most parts stores will stock this in Moog or can get it the next day. I will not install anything but Moog on My Cars.

I purchased rebuilt a-arms from another supplier only to discover that they included cheap foreign ball joints. Before installation I went ahead and installed better quality joints. Did not want to have to mess with it again for many years.

I would not use that. Pick up another Federal unit or use a Moog.

I had the same thing happen. Got another one and it seeped a little, but not as bad as the first one. Wish I'd stayed with MOOG like I did with the lowers.

I just noticed that you bolted them instead of riveting them so that shoots your originality. Go with MOOG.
