Yep. V0515 would be the assembly plant (V = Flint, MI), the month (05 = May) and the day (15 = the 15th). There will be two letters after that which will tell you the engine designation.

I was under the impression that "F" refers to Flint, MI and "T" refers to Tonawanda, NY I got this from "VetteFacts.com." However, they may have it wrong or --- F or V refers to Flint, MI.
F did refer to Flint through the 1966 model year. From 1967 on, they went to the V designation (for V8's. L6's still used the F designation). And yes, T is Tonawanda.
