Neutral Safety backup light switch question

See picture - See the green and pink connector - its the backup switch connector - what does it connect to???

Hi S1,
I'm not too familiar with auto cars so I looked at the 71 AIM.
It appears that UPC M40, Sheet A2 shows the connection, and it has that connector plugging into what is called out as the "production inst pnl harness asm".
It appears this connection is under the shifter console but on the interior side of the transmission tunnel... so very close to the area in your picture.

it plugs into a jack on the dash harness. the jack should emerge from the harness near the center console wires. on 4 speed cars a wire comes thru the firewall and plugs into the same dash harness jack.
