I was checking my plugs and I was underneath the car messing with the number 5 and 7 plugs, when I noticed I am missing a bolt above the freeze plug. I am going to go out on a limb and say there should be one, but wanted to verify. I mean, is there any advantage for it missing? Seems it would be more of a disadvantage wouldn't it?
Do you mean these holes? This is a photo from an 82 automatic. I'm not sure what the left one is for, but it's empty on mine. I think the right hole is for a clutch mechanism.
