Well would u throw out a forged crank just because its a 3.48" stroke for a 350" motor? All kinds of possibilities with a GEN I sbc. BTW trading for parts is a legal way to save your money but its not taxed either. Better, bigger blocks, heads, carbs are all fair game and make the hobby more fun. Check out Craigs List, Long Beach swapmeet at Veterans Stadium or the Pomona car show & swap some time.
