Know any good driveline shops in your area - should be plenty near the big city. Most driveline shops can diagnose driveline vibration easily as thats all they do. Age of u-joints? Good shop can balance all your shafts for little money and set u up with good quality u joints at same time. Think peace of mind.

Yeah there is place here called Suburban Drive Line. That's all they do. I'm thinking of rolling it over there before the weather turns...
no I actually bought another car so it's been kind of on the back burner. I stumbled into a really nice 428 HO 69 Grand Prix and I always liked them so I grabbed it. This weekend I'm going to Southern Illinois for a route 66 event with it but when I get back I plan on taking the vette over to suburban drive line to have that looked at. I will post up once I find out what's going on with it. I would like to get it resolved before the weather turns.

I have had a few people PM and mail me asking if I found out what my issue was and if I got to the bottom of it. The weekend before I had the appointment at the driveline joint, the carb went south on me and the car flooded bad. Was not even drivable. Gas all over the place, so I yanked the carb to have it rebuilt. Now there is a dusting of snow on the ground so she's kinda locked in right now. If we get a decent dry spell here I may still try to shoot it over there one day because that's all the car needs to be pretty much complete. We have not had and salt thrown down on the roads yet. Just light dustings of snow so far. Once the salt hits the road it wont go anywhere until spring so we'll have to see how it goes.
I promise to update this thread once I get her over there either soon before the real weather hits or in the spring.
