From Lars' "How to Tune a Q-Jet Bulletin", the '69 Vette with manual tranny should have 7029203 carb; auto tranny should have 7029202 carb.
I would interpret the number you provided as a (70)29207 carb which was used for "CHEV 69 350 325HP VETTE". I'm not sure what that 325HP VETTE means. Didn't know they made one. There was a 325HP 396 engine in '69 for Chevelles and other Chevy models. Maybe this was a typo.
If you do have the 7029207 carb, it will have slightly different rods/jets in it from what your original carb should have had. But that carb [in factory configuration] is a pretty good match to the car you have.
You might want to send Lars an e-mail at V8FastCars@msn.com to ask his advice on this one.
I can see the the Rochester stamp on the drivers side center of carb, the number runs up and down on the drivers side rear flat section, is that where it is
#29207 DA is the shortened version of #7029207 DA which (I think) was used for quadrajet carburetors manufactured by Carter.
#0649 would be the julian date of the day it was manufactured which = March 5, 1969.
If it was stamped at the plant, they would have stamped just the last 5 digits, 29207. Also, the julian date code was used by Rochester, Carter used just a 2-letter code for the month and year.
Post some pictures of the carburetor and the pad if you will. If you have an original 7029207 carburetor, which belongs on a 350/350 motor, that's a coveted little carburetor right there.

I have a 7029207 carburetor on my original 350/350 what makes it coveted? I changed the metering rods to go richer and this got me wondering where I put the stock ones.

That's right. I forgot about Carter using the letter code for the DOM.
So which plant stamped the 5 digit code and which plant stamped the 7 digit code?
Man looked at Lar's chart and it shows 350/325hp WHAT, never heard of a 350/325 vette. Another chart showe 350/350. OK since I have a 300hp I guess I should assume it is not the original carb, yes or no

No, not the original carburetor The 7029207 belongs only on the 1969 L46 (350/350hp).
Thank you so much for that sight melwff , so now I think I will go ahead and get that 650 holley on the forum frompatrik, he claims that it will fit on the stock wide bore manifold and has a front mount fuel line, hope it clears the hood

rvzio, It should fit under your hood, but you may run into clearance issues with your stock air cleaner assembly. Just an FYI, you may have some bubba-ing to do to make that fit.
