Looks like a nice combo.. I assume you are shooting for 500hp or so?

Should definitely put that Vette in the 11s..

Sub'd for progress... (I'll check back next year )
Build is targeted for around 550 horsepower. And here is the latest picture.

Yes I did and thanks.
Had to run to work last night so was offline

What secures your pressure regulator or is it just held up by the line?

The regulator is mounted to the standard bracket that came with it.I modified the bracket to fit the threaded boss on the front of the victor jr.
The line is solid steel nicor line attached with an fittings. This way regulator is attached to engine for tuning ease (engine dyno). The nicor line will not rust and is much easier to bend than regular steel line but is pretty expensive.

Powerband should be 2500 to 6500 rpm.Desktop dyno predicts 435 ft lbs at 2500 rpm climbing to 551 at 5000 rpm.

I have 1 3/4 Hooker S/C headers. Some of the studs have so little clearance that I had to grind off the ARP nuts shoulders to get them on the flange.

I think you just inspired me to go mock up my OBX sidepipe headers on my engine while its on the stand... hopefully it will be going in the car next week and I want to avoid surprises if possible

I actually went with the smaller 5/16 nuts and had to grind them down

I love pictures with mounted side pipes while engines are on the stand.
If you are aiming to maximum horsepower you should remove chrome from your intake.
Chrome looks good but doesn’t help to gain any power…
Actually it keeps the intake Hot.

That 10 is bull crap and might be better used for a solid axle car ..

With an automatic in my vette I have 3.92 and 3.06 first ,, It handles it easily and makes the car jump out of the hole ..

In my case I'm going 3.73 to 1, not just first but 2nd and third as well. If i followed the 10 rule I'd pretty much be there with my 3.06 first gear and my 3.08s. I figure for auto crossing and some strip time I'd be better with the 3.73 my only cocerns with this were a) first gear winds up so fast already that with 3.73 or lower I might need to set up a governor set up to shift before I hit red line and b) traction. how do you like your 3.92s?

I have no traction issues , and I set governor to shift at 6500 .. I had 3.36 and 3.73 and now the 3.92 and i prefer the 3.92 over the others.
