Front End noise
I have an issue with my 77, as you are braking, the front end makes a loud noise just before full stop. I had a seal go on the right front caliper, I didn't think the pads got fluid on them, but wondering if that could be the problem. Car is going away for the winter so will order o-ring calipers in the spring to stop the leak. Could this be from contaminated pads? Or could something else be the culprit?

Well I realize the question is rather vague, but I can't really describe it, it not a clunk, creak or rattle. If I could figure out how to make a clip of the noise I would and then figure out if it can be attached here.

A loud groaning noise just before stopping is probably brake fluid contamination on the pads, especially with harder compound pads. Clean the rotors with spray brake cleaner and replace the pads.
